Sun Sand Sea
Yesterday was the fourth day of oweek, at Sentosa. only blogged abt it today cos was really too shagged to do anything when i reached home last nite haha.. think other faculties of NUS were there also but at different parts of the beaches.. it's funny how i always believed getting wet and dirty during orientation always help to bond a group together, and it always turns out to be true. for me, orientation is a time to let loose of urself, and do seemingly crazy things that u normally wud never have done( such as taking off ur swimming trunks underwater and wear them over ur shorts lol )
well kudos to the organisers for their ability to come up with creative games at such tight budget. had plenty of fun watching the freshies cheer their hearts out, as well as being so enthusiatic to want to earn more points for their own og that they are willing to do almost anything (tho i wud hav prefered if the freshies took e initiative to lead cheers themselves haha) not forgetting the many dunkings, taupok-ing and burying in e sand haha..
then there was the house games, where the 4 different houses use waterbombs to attack each other's "hostages" while the rest frantically tried to protect them. in my opinion it was basically jus Monster house (my house) versus Machine house haha.. the other 2 houses somehow seemed excluded from the battle with their hostages relatively unscathed.
at night we went to vivo city for dinner at asian kitchen.. den went to somewhere for a little bit more of interaction with the freshies. realised that its really quite a small world.. 4 of the freshies in my group were from tjc, 2 of them were from dhs where 1 is actually my choir junior!! haha i mean of cos its no big deal that u run into ppl who's from the same school as u, but i think it helps to provide a sense of familiarity, and of cos new topics to crap abt haha..
so well that marks the end of the 4th day of oweek. must say that its really been an enjoyable experience so far haha.. last but not least, HAPPY BDAY SINGAPORE! =D
